Wash Day
A beautiful, sunny morning meant we had to head (I rode my borrowed bicycle and my wife walked) to the Plaza Grande for a cup of coffee and some people watching. Lots of others had the same idea, the square was filled with people, tourists and locals alike, wandering around enjoying the warm sun. One pair, however, was busy doing their weekly wash in one of the fountains. These two were scrubbing all manner of clothing using the water and wall of the fountain. They seemed oblivious to the looks many passing by gave them. Of course, this being Mexico, no one said a word to these brazen clothing washers. Just when you think you have seen it all...
