In-Water Wave

Each time following a morning beach run I plop in the ocean to cool down a little. I typically have my underwater camera on hand and try for some wave photos. Of the roughly 970 photos taken over the past few weeks I have only saved a half dozen or so. Not a very good success rate. Even this one has room for improvement, which I will attempt after my next run. The challenge is to get the shot without getting smashed by the breaking wave. Seems I am always releasing the shutter too soon. Mostly likely anticipating what the wave might do to me as it crests over my head. I perhaps need to quit worrying about that and concentrate on getting the shot.
