Chemo Day 2

Another visit to see the lovely people in the Barnsley Hospital chemo ward. (The things we have to do to get a day out!)  Followed by a tour around the outskirts of Barnsley collecting essential supplies from various places.  (We could do with our own delivery from Longley Farm for vanilla yoghurts!)

We missed out on a night sitter for mum yesterday evening as our allocated person had developed shingles - poor her.  Sods law that this was the night when her `syringe driver' decided to play up.  So we ended up with three visits from the rapid response team.  One at around 9.00pm. then another from the night team at around 11pm and then they were back with is just before 6am.  Needless to say we haven't had too much sleep in between!
