A Welcome Sight

How different the garden looks when wet! We've had intermittent gentle rainfall for several hours, perfect for plants, and much cooler temperatures (59F/15C at 11:30 a.m. PDST), both welcomed by me. 

Occasional showers are forecast for the entire weekend, and by early next week, sunshine is due to return -- a perfect combination! 

I wish we could send some of this gentle rain to the parched areas of Washington state and beyond.
