Helleborus- Christmas Rose

Just to prove I don't grow Australian natives exclusively, I decided to blip my dear, shy little Hellebores which was nestled among the native violets.  I know it's not a native because I grew up with my grandmother always calling it a "Christmas Rose" - in July?  That could only mean one thing!  In  fact it is not a rose but a member of the Ranunuculaceae family. Many species can be poisonous, so I will not be taste testing this one. It's a bit weather beaten (heavy rain for a couple of days) and nibbled at, but I love the delicate colour with the tinge of green in the petals.
