Lomond views

The weather was looking fine, so I decided to head for Balmaha and climb the Conic in search of a decent view or two.

It is a really hard, steep climb and I won't pretend I reached the top. About halfway up, I was relieved to spot  a path veering off the official West Highland Way, possibly made by sheep, so I followed that until this panorama was visible.

The second extra shot is the view to the top from the point I reached - you can just make out some tiny figures in the distance.

With several possible blips in the bag I made my way carefully down - oh, my poor knees! - by which time the path was very busy with folk on their way up.
