Ullapool Sunset

Baby snow monkies, 3 polar bears, 3 wildcat kittens (and acting like kittens), two Lynx Cubs, two red pandas, a wolverine, two Tigers to name but a few. And snow leopards, real actual snow leopards. Conservation breeding programme in full swing. We nearly breached the human safety limit for human "awwwwwing" today. Bigtime condensed furballness at the Kingussie Highland Wildlife Park...including a genuinely wild Mountain Hare that has made the reserve its home, or got stuck, but not in the tiger enclosure. That would have been a very different ending.

Ullapool at dusk, top notch food and meet up with Mum and Dad, then ever onwards, Northwards. Gorgeous mountain silhouettes against the last of the sun's ruby red skies. Flat calm lochs, no wind. Perfect for spotting otters making their telltale V along the lochs as darkness falls. Perfect midge weather too perhaps. Time will tell.

Sam and Tess are happy. Scotland is beautiful. Tell us something we don't know.
