Catching up with Mum

Classic warm and windy get yer wet clothes up on the line summer's day today. Tess was happy, heading into town with her Dad to buy vital stuff....like comics....and DVD's (She's discovered Twilight and was last seen entering the living room and switching on the DVD player hours ago) while Sam and I swung past ye olde Parkhill garden centre to get the bird seed in. Neighbour Pat showed Sam a false widow spider and spiderlings she'd discovered in her greenhouse as well as a mouse skeleton so dainty, but very much deceased. Sam was impressed. She knew he'd be right into having a look at that kind of thing. I'm still the only one stupid enough to get things and out of our shed though, what with the wasps nest in full flow.

Out walking tonight and managed to be un-super stealthy and scare off the wildlife with our big feet and bigger voices. This wee bundle (I stole Dave's picture) was bounding off to catch his/her mum. We've seen the wee one fairly come on this past while, not much smaller than mum now, and the handsome horns are coming on nicely.
