Went to Monkey Haven today - lots of rescued monkeys. It was a lovely place and really well run. Some of the animals had been rescued from horrible situations but this sanctuary provides somewhere for them to live out their days free from harm. The island seems to take a long time to get around, even though it is small so that really took up most of the day as well as stopping in Newport for supplies, which was an experience. 

When we got back to the campsite, Neil, Helen and Esme had arrived - got to be about 4 years, maybe more since I have seen them and the first time we have met little Es. Once they had pitched up we headed down to the beach for a BBQ. Neil and Mr EG had a plan to go surfing but there wasn't much surf and after a few beers I think they had lost their motivation. Was a warmer night than it has been so we sat out till late.
