Dino World

It started raining in the middle of the night and did not let up till the early hours of the next day. Not the best beach weather so we looked for indoor things to do.

Gerty the camper wouldn't start as we tried to leave the campsite but Mr EG managed to get her going again somehow using an emery board and vaseline. I was quite impressed but they say pride comes before a fall (he smugly posted it on facebook) as when we stopped for petrol at Morrisons we couldnt get started again and no amount of filing or vaseline would get us going this time. So the AA had to be called. Me and the kids lived the dream and had lunch in Morrisons whilst Mr EG waited for the AA. 

The AA man whacked the starter motor with a hammer and got her started again and said we could either carry on doing that as a temporary fix or he would ring round and see if there was a part on the island and replace it. Fortunately there was and he was such a lovely guy that he followed us to Dino World and fixed it whilst we went round there so the kids weren't disappointed. Top marks to Bryan of the AA ! 

Found a lovely pub for some dinner on the way back
