In the Eye of the Beholder!
The Remote Controller; G; Mr Dyson: Jamesie Cotter; Pops; Uncle Gordon; Your Lordship; call him what you will, he's home.
Two consecutive weekends of hard drinking and rough sleeping (i.e., camping out) have left him a nearly broken man! Back from the Wickerman Festival, suffering from sunburn and heartburn, and a severe case of sleep deprivation.
He's showing me his festival sunglasses, which are ridiculously large, round, and mirrored. By the way - I'm not heavily pregnant, my mid-section is distorted by the glasses, honest!
It's good to have him home, I was getting a bit fed up of only having the dog to moan at talk to.
Another good thing today is that it is my proper 365th blip today, by which I mean 365 consecutive blips since I did my first. After I started, I went back and put on a few older back blips, which were included in my total number by Polaroid, but I don't count them.
So, today I am officially 365 not out, Huzzah! And I'm properly delighted, because when I started doing this I vowed that I would prove to myself that I could do 365 consecutive ones, after which I could do something else with my time each day if I chose. I do intend to continue to be a regular Blipper, but it feels wonderful to have reached my self-imposed target.
My plan now is to investigate doing some kind of online course, because I've proved that I can spare at least 20 minutes each day to do something, and I might as well make that time count. I think I'd like to do a language, maybe Spanish, French, or Greek.
So, Buenos Notches, Bon Nuit, or Kali Nichta dear blipmates, and into another week we go ........
