The goosegogs are coming

A little trip out to B&Q with Doffy - while mooching around the garden dept a man came past chuntering how neglected the plants were & the state of all things in general & how everthing was better when Maggie Thatcher was in charge (of the country not B&Q) I left Doffy to sort him out which she did with her usual decorum.

The gooseberries are looking good this year, not ready for a while yet. A couple of years ago the bushes had mildew & had to be replaced with some cuttings so they've done quite well.
