Sophie's mini

Another hot hot day. Here they are in Misson at a vintage car rally. Our friend Sophie has a 1961 mini that has been handed down her family. It's a beautiful little car, no seat belts, no anchor for a tipping up seat, a switch to turn it on, a history lesson in car safety features. The boys were very taken by it. Interestingly it was too hot to walk across from the car park to the rally but not too hot to spend ages wandering around looking at various sports cars, old tractors and the like!
It was change over day at R's Gite so we had access to the swimming pool - bliss!
