Looking out through the the missing roof space of Astley Castle above the dining room table.  The fortified manor was restored by The Landmark Trust in 2013 and is a stunning piece of architecture combining the existing ruin with new-build replacement rooms and walls.  The effect is a house within a castle.  The waiting list to stay here is a few years!
