Ecuador

Although Izzy's chap lives in London when he's not at university, his family are from Ecuador. This summer he's going back there for five weeks and he has invited Izzy to go with him.

She's been working flat out to raise the airfare and tomorrow morning they're flying out of Heathrow. Today, then, was our last chance to get together, so we went for lunch at Avanti before I took her to the train station.

Of course I'll miss her but I know we'll be in touch most days, if not every day. While Milly was interrailing recently, we used WhatsApp to chat daily and for her to send me photos. In fact, the only real downside of the girls going away is how envious I am!
