What I CAN tell you is it's bl**dy hot  ~  38C/103F ....... oh my goodness, I think I may melt!  (at least I am not in Baghdad - I saw on the news it was 49C which is around 125F ..... phew, with a capital phew!)

Picked a great hotel - got an upgrade to a room with a private terrace (posh, eh) ........ and it's right in the middle of the city.

Will have time for a wander around in the morning before flying back to the UK in the late afternoon - think I may need to be out early to avoid the worst of the heat!!
