Mono Monday : : Spring

It's a bit of a stretch, but we were at Spring Lake where I got some shots of Dana putting Blake through his paces. There are lots of distractions there…people with walkers, strollers and bikes, lots of other dogs, kayaks, geese and duck, and of course, the major distraction for a lab…the lake. It seems that Blake was most distracted by seeing Ozzie, but he settled down and did very well. He does have a nice spring in his step. Soon he will be the best trained service dog on the Parcourse at Spring Lake.

Poor OilMan is not having such a good birthday. I went out to get a card to go with the present the kids and I got him, which is backordered for a couple more weeks. Seemed the least I could do. When I got home, he was yelling into the phone at somebody in another part of the world who had managed to disable his computer because he wouldn't give them money for a "license".The computer is now in the care of the Geek Squad, who assure him he's got a lot of company, and he's drowning his sorrows with a beer….

We'll try to manage something a little festive for his dinner. Happy birthday, OilMan!
