Faded glory

On 15 November I blipped this orchid head. When cut I left it to dry out and this is the result.

It's been a potential emergency blip for a while and has had to be activated today.

That's what happens when you discover that you've left the SD card in the computer. In any event the weather was so wet and autumnal that opportunities were few. The trip to Stirling for a "GIRFEC and the children's hearing system" meeting was more of a sail than a drive.
