Irrational

There are some things, that for no apparent reason, drive you nuts.
This hole in the ceiling plaster in the kitchen has been there for a while, every time I look at it I get annoyed.
However things are about to change;
We have a plasterer coming to remove the ceiling plaster.
Then the electrician will be in to reroute the cables.
Plasterer back to do the ceiling.
Kitchen fitter in to rip out and dispose of the current kitchen.
New kitchen in.
Paint
New lights
Kitchen finished.

All this is a month away and whilst it is going on the children are away, eldest touring the Flanders Battlefields, the other on a school camp in Devon. Therefore Clare and I will be eating out, (lobster at The Shack is definitely a possibility), BBQing and maybe inviting ourselves to friends. I estimate we will be without a kitchen for up to twenty days.
Salads, wraps and the microwave, at least the Weight Watchers Leader should be happy.
