Little France

Round the back and up the hill from here is Craigmillar Castle. Mary, Queen of Scots, lived there and her French courtiers lived nearby, it is said, hence Little France. Now itv is the site of Edinburgh, huge Infirmary and Medical School site. Now the new Sick Kids is also bring built on the site. It will be open in 2017. Meanwhile is a long walk to the car park and more cranes.

I was there to pick up a sleep monitor for dad, an interlude from working from home. It was home via Cameron Toll.
