Bronze

Today was a bit of a mixed bag.

First thing I went to see the calf with the bad leg. If he was a human he'd be having intensive physio right now......so since we can't do that he and his wee friend got to go out to the big field with all the other cows and calves!! The idea is that if he walks about enough he will build up the muscle in his weak leg....a major step forward!! The two of them had never been in a big field....or indeed any field....before and went ballistic!! They ran about kicking their heels and running into fences until they got the hang of it. If they could have talked "yippee" would have been the word!!

I went for lunch with C and J in town. We made a new friend!! The bronze gentleman sits on his bench permanently, just waiting for people to finish the West Highland Way and come to have their picture taken with him!! He was all by himself so we thought we'd go and sit with him for a wee blip . It's surely fitting to have a bronze blip so close to the Olympics!! Maybe I'll work my way up to a gold!!
