Ruth

This is one of my very best friends, Ruth.

She came to visit today and it is always like we only saw each other yesterday.....although it has been almost a year and a half. She is also a vet and we met a long time ago in the PDSA in Newcastle.

We have shared many experiences....good and bad.....over the years and although distance keeps us apart we just take up where we left off when we meet.

I spent a few sunny hours in the garden with her today. Then C,J,L and I went to a neighbours barbeque where I had some amazing conversations, found out lots of things I didn't know and met a really inspiring woman.

All in all a good day!!
