mud

could have watched these sisters all day. they were loving the mud!

so, sunday. not so sunny. mud + rain = hiding out under big covers and learning how to play big drums, learning what its like to be in a romanian brass band, eating goan fish curry, shopping for pretty things. saw some great acts today. ghostpoet, laura mvula, the cat empire.

very much enjoyed the parade, where all the children at the festival dressed up and showed off the things they'd been making, led out by various bands, samba drummers, dancers etc. lots of smiles and happy people bringing lots of colour to the muddy brown fields.
