Pentland Hills in the rain
A pacey walk first thing this morning taking in a new route from Balerno. Rain continued to fall, 48 hours now! At least the landscape is green.
Late morning we drove part the way into Edinburgh, parked and caught the bus into the city centre. Our objective was to see the David Bailey's Stardust exhibition at the National Art Gallery. A very enjoyable exhibition with some iconic images on show, some specially for the display.
My only wish would be that curators were better at providing sufficient information and direction around the exhibition. In many cases there was only minimal information and on some occasions nothing at all. The mobile phone came in useful to find out what's what.
As we were pushing a wheelchair we entered part way through the exhibition so were disoriented for a while, which didn't help with our interpretation of the collection.
