Life goes on
Despite the fact that I was completely engulfed by the pressure of my exam, the rest of the world kept turning. Imagine that! :-)
The Museum project suffered some setbacks due to torrential rains in the area. Husband Dear and Brian spent the last 3 mornings siphoning the water out of the holes for footings. Fortunately, the holes were dry today, and there was no rain in sight.
The guy with the watch deserves a special mention. Socrates knows more about concrete work than all of the folks in this picture taken together. One of our dual degree students (landscape architecture/landscape contracting), he works for a concrete contractor to support himself while in school. He came to help on this project out of goodness of his heart.
Thanks, Socrates!!!
