Butterfly on bucket

Amazed to see the incredible wing of this butterfly so close and side on.

A friend and I ate lunch outside as she is allergic to our pets,  and it was lovely to be out there (hence the extra photo).

As a contrast, when my parents came for supper, shutting doors and windows was imperative as Mum gets cold easily and doesn't like draughts.
