Splendid

G & I headed up to London again today - this time to enjoy a three course fine dining meal which was given to us by friend rachelwhynot at Gordon Ramsay's restaurant in the Savoy Hotel. The food was amazing as was the service and ambience (my first extra). My blip though is of the (afternoon) tea room of the hotel which you have to admit, is pretty grand.

We then went to Covent Garden to see favourite buskers Lotus Classics - completely new line up bar the cellist and they were awesome as ever. The warmer, sunnier day just added to the day being extra good. G then wanted to jump on *any bus* again, and we chose the No. 11, not quite as randomly as we normally do. The bus took us past St Paul's and Bank (more extras - G took the one of the columns). And lastly, we made our way back to Waterloo and I managed to get the last extra shot through the opposite window on the bus. Not bad!

Unfortunately, I got us on the wrong train back and we ended up in Brookwood (never heard of the place before) and had to make our way back to Surbiton. Good thing G is SO patient and takes things in her stride. :D  It's been a really good day!
