The Kilns

Travelled up to Oxford today just for G to see this... CS Lewis' house. Unfortunately we weren't able to do a tour, but we did have a walk through the nearby Wildlife Preserve and pond. Very nice to be there and G is thrilled to see this and visualise things she is reading about him.

Had a drive through the City after that - there wasn't really time to take the park and ride or stop to see anything. All for another time. We did stop to have lunch though at a cafe close to the nearest parking spot we found, which happened to be near the Oxford University Press building.

Back to the Lodge to get things sorted for the next few days. My holiday is fast coming to an end!!! So sad! ;(
