Wednesday Wheels

I know exactly how old this old police cruiser is. It is 62 years old. How do I know? It was made in the same year I was born. 1953. It is a Hudson Jet.

It reminds me of the cruisers that Andy and Barney used to drive in the old Andy Griffith show.

Ahhhh...the Andy Griffith show. Andy, Barney, Opie, Aunt Bee, Thelma, Floyd, and Goober and Gomer. Back when a TV show actually tried to teach you some values.

Don't get me going...but how did we go from that show, and shows like My Three Sons, The Donna Reed Show, Leave it to Beaver, and The Ozzie and Harriet Show to...The Bachelor, Two and a Half Men, and Big Brother?

The shows were simpler, as were the cars.
