Ready to run

Meet junior, the latest addition to bunnydom, or Flopsy, Mopsy and Cottontail's younger sibling. It's a very good year for bunnies. This is a  baby though it's hard to tell from the photo as there is no size comparison. There were 5 bunnies in the lower yard tonight so I can only assume the 4th adult was Mrs Rabbit, as Peter and Benjamin Bunny ( and another baby) were in the back yard.One of our neighbors had commented in the past that the bunny population cycles up and down. i think we are in an up cycle. Although I worry about the little bunnies as the Cooper's hawk was around tonight and I think he got the very loud chipmunk that lived in the rocks in the front  yard. A baby bunny would be a nice size snack for her babies.
