At the top of the tree

Close to where I parked the rental car at Kenepuru Hospital last week I walked past a tree alive with tui singing scrapping and feeding. Today, the same tree was just as full of tui enjoying the nectar from the winter flowers of the Banksia.

To make the whole travel process simpler, I only carry the small Nikon camera, which allows multiple different settings, each unalterable apart from being chosen. Focus is as the programmers determined. It does have a 22x optical zoom, and I used that this morning as it is quite a tall tree.

I'm satisfied with the end result, even if the sky was a little more blue than this shows. Back home again, with time to relax coming up.
