Silver washed Fritillary ( I think)

..... was waiting on the buddleia when I returned home after a fairly fraught day of paperwork to do with my Swiss pension! Then another fairly fraught couple of hours digging millet out of the lawn. Where does it come from and how can we get rid of it? Any suggestions gratefully received.
