Maps!

Today we released maps to everyone, not just members. No major changes since the members preview, just a bit of tidying up here and there and improving the main interface on the iPad.

We made an effort to use our own Blipfoto-themed maps for the browse pages; the ultimate plan is to do the same for the detailed maps, however this involves some serious number-crunching (hundreds of terabytes of data) so, in the meantime, we've opted for MapQuest and are looking into the possibility of Google Maps too.

Now all users can use maps, we'll be bringing them to some upcoming projects and also giving apps access to location data via the API, which should make mobile blipping a bit more interesting.
