Mid-Morning Surprise

We hiked about 2.5 miles through Circle B Bar Reserve in Lakeland, Florida this morning.  It was very humid and hot and saw nothing for the first mile. Then this beautiful owl caught our attention.  He wasn't that far up and let me take about a dozen pictures before flying up to a higher place.  After this, we saw some Anhingas, a Green Heron eating breakfast (see today's extra photos), and a bunch of Osprey that looked like they were having an aerial fight.  A fun morning to say the least!
