"ALL THINGS BRIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL "

The beauty of taking on someone else's house is that you don't know what will pop up next.  This lovely Gladioli started to flower 2 days ago.  The only problem - it is growing out of the top of the rockery wall, totally the wrong place!  But it is such a lovely colour.

The other photo is a plant growing in the middle of nowhere on the way to the beach.  Any ideas as to what it is?

The weather has been glorious today so at last we found time to take the 'beast' for a spin.  Even though there is a lot of traffic about it was super to whizz up to Wadebridge on the A39 and back down the coast road with lots of twists and turns.

Of course we took Phoebes down to the beach after 18.00 when it was quiet.  Sadly she got spooked by a freak wave just the once.  That was it she wouldn't go in again.
