We did it....

Well it was such  a fabulous evening....a little recap so i don't forget it all!

The 2 days leading up to the start of the show were really very hectic...both Jane and i working in various areas....Jane got the whole studio cleared out and her paintings hung so that by thursday afternoon when i headed  over there we had to figure out how my work would fit it.  i always find the beginning of setting up a new space very stressful and i have a hard time getting in tune with the space and imagining how it will all flow.   But after sometime we got a things sorted out and i set to unpacking pots, moving stuff and all that is entailed in presenting a show.   Friday was the run around morning...picking up food, wine etc...and then over the Jane's to work on display and price everything.   By 4.30 pm we had the signs attached at the bottom of her road and all we had to do was get dressed up and put on our lipstick!   4.50 we headed over the show space, put on some good music (Celine Dion!!) and danced it out! 4.55 our first 3 customers showed up and from then on until after 8pm the room was never without a large group of folks, mingling, laughing...buying....and generally have a great time!
