Beauty is all around us.

Some of my knitting projects.

I have been knitting since the age of five, when I won a small basket of wool and knitting needles at a Church Summer Fayre, for dressing up in crepe paper as a carnation flower. My Mum made the costume.
I enjoy knitting during the evening when listening to the radio, or watching TV. It is rewarding to see how things take shape, and a good outlet for creative energy. I use bamboo needles, as steel needles are cold and can lead to arthritis in the hands, an experienced knitter informed me.
The blip collage is all about recent things I have knitted for AgeUK.
They are scarves, hand warmers and blankets.
Have a lovely evening blipper friends and thanks for recent stars.
