Dyrham Park

Lovely day out today at the NT Dyrham Park.
We walked down the hill to explore and walked around the beautiful grounds of the house. We had some lunch in the tea garden and then headed up to the roof of the house which is currently being restored.

We got the lift up 75ft to above the rooftop line so that we could look down on the roof and renovations. All of the lead is being taken off he roof and all of the tiles replaced. C liked wearing his hi-vis jacket and it was v sweet that they have R one too!

When we came out it started raining quite hard so we jumped on the bus back and unfortunately we missed exploring the children's old lodge area, we'll have to do that next time.
