Playday

First day of our long weekend today.

The day started well with a pedicure for me while C showed daddy his new found biking skills. It was so nice to put my feet up and be pampered :-) A bit of pre-holiday preparation.

We spent the rest of the day taking it easy, playing/pottering in the garden and cutting back the roses and bushes that have grown really quite big with all the heat and showers.

Isn't it funny how the arrival of a new toy storage bucket causes a lot of excitement - it's really a boat doncha know!
