Christmas Is Coming

I put my S2000 in the shed next to the farm last week as I have been using the Volvo to ferry my sister and her family around. When I went to get it out last evening I heard the cheeping of young turkeys. My heart always sinks at this sound. Summer is nearly over. :( 

Jazzy dog and I intended to photograph birds today. I could hear Jenny wren, a linnet, a chiff chaff and a greenfinch but I couldn't see any of them. Robin redbreast broke cover briefly. 

I was reduced to climbing on the JCB and sneaking a pic of the hapless turkeys in the barn. They live here for all of their short lives, at least the sun filters through in places.
