Outdoor Fun

SWMBO wasn't feeling great today so I had the Cygnet all to myself.

We went out for drinks and snacks at the garden centre - but fore going to the cafe we walked around (with the Cygnet pushing one of the Maurice Brothers in a buggy) smelling the flowwers and watching the hens.
Hanging on to him (pushing the buggy) and carrying a tray with coffee and cake was fun.
Of course, we had to go and look at the fish after.

Before leaving we went for a wee walk so he could play on rock, run about in long grass and and see lorrys and vans passing in the distance.

He wasn't too keen on going for a nap before lunch - but tough .... he needed it.

After lunch his Great Grandmother came calling to drop off his birthday present because she will be away cruising when he hits the grand old of 2.

There was then a lot of tickling and laughter and playing golf (and retrieving balls and toy cars from under the couch).

Of course when his mother arrived home he insisted on going out for a walk - that has become a bit of a routine for some reason.

By the time We got back I was knackered.
It is a bad state of affairs when I am outpaced by a 2 year old
