Hello Blippers! Hope you are all well!

I'm absolutely gutted I missed the Olympic torch today. It was coming through Dalkeith, and even though school was on, a lot of people weren't in for the morning.

I would've went, but my mum told me I wasn't allowed. You'd think for a once in a lifetime event like this, they'd maybe open the school a little bit later than usual, but no.

Midlothian Council seem to be opposed to anyone having a day off for big events. First, the UK bank holiday, then the jubilee, now this. So Annoyed! :(

Anyway, I did do well on my chemistry test, but the work experience situation hasn't changed, although I found out I need to have everything organised by next Friday. Fingers crossed it all works out!
