Army cadets ...

My son spent the weekend at an induction for the Army Cadets. Sleeping outdoors under a piece of tarp, being woken at midnight for fire drills, learning the hard way that pocket knives are actually really sharp, and getting to wear the uniform. All very exciting for a 12 year old.

Although the drive back home is only 6 minutes, we had to stop for food along the way ... apparently army food rations aren't that big on quality or quantity.
