Fun and Games

On our way home from our holiday with my family, we had arranged to meet my daughter and her two children who live in the South of France. She came in on the Dieppe ferry docking at Newhaven. Here we collected our youngest grand daughter who is going to stay with us for a week whilst her mum and elder sister go to a Girl Guide Camp in the New Forest. They will then join us later in Wales for a further weeks holiday. Our little treasure is a bundle of energy so we took her to an adventure playground in Cardiff where she  had a fantastic day and was totally exhausted by evening.  Dinner and an early bath worked its magic and she slept the whole night through before prising one of my eyelids open at  seven o'clock saying "its morning Grandpa, can we go to the beach today". Her wish is my command!
