A day in Somerset
I have abandoned my wife, daughter and grand daughters because I have arranged to attend a visit to the West Somerset Railway Steam Fayre at Norton Fitzwarren. Generally the weather has been very good for most of the time. We left Penarth on the MV Balmoral which sailed to Clevedon Pier. We were then picked up by a coach which took us to Bishops Lydeard where we caught an old fashioned train to the rally. After a very full day, we caught a steam train which took us to Minehead where we were picked up by the MV Balmoral again and brought back to Penarth. A wonderful day out, but totally exhausting!
