Let the celebrations begin!

Only a half day at work which was nice but typically busy! A bit of last minute packing and then Lottie and I caught the train to York, ready for the wedding celebrations.

The hotel was gorgeous, a little 'boutique' hotel tucked away behind the Minster, gorgeous grounds, lots of nooks and crannies. We were the first guests there so we sat out in the garden with a drink which was very pleasant. After a nice half hour with the bride's family we went up to get ready for tea - pizza in a rather noisy Pizza Express. Took a few photos of the sun starting to set on the way back to the hotel.

We had a girly hour of painting nails before I managed to get Lottie in bed and grabbed a bit of sleep (on and off) myself while waiting for my mobile to ring. Hubby was doing part of his night shift and drove through after work, arriving at 3am!
