Mixed Fortunes

Bruce Birnie from Montrose, celebrating his win in the first superbike race of the day.
That race had been lead by Greg Gilfillan (No94, see extra picture) until he crashed with two laps to go, at about 120mph. When I spoke to him later, he was fine apart from a sore foot. The bike was a different story.

The second extra picture is Andy Tasker (179) and Greg's brother Sean (72) battling out of the last corner for the win in the second race. Sean nicked it by 0.154 sec.

Sean & Andy fought all the way in the last race too, with Sean winning again, before high-5-ing each other in parc fermme. In the final extra pic, Sean is being interviewed, while Andy talks to his sister. Bruce crashed out in the warm-up lap.
