June Challenge - A Flag - Part and Part

Today's challenge was 'A Flag'. It's surprising - a week or so ago you couldn't move for union flags everywhere for the jubilee. Today I found 1 pub with some 'flag bunting', another pub with a very wet drooping flag and that was it. Apart from a quick trip to Luton Airport that is.

I would have liked to have put a twist on the theme and snapped a windsock, but I could only see one, and that was too far away for my compact to get, so its a montage of 2 pictures. A pretty rough and ready join, and you can tell they come from 2 different shots as the flags are blowing in opposite directions!

And the title - flag one - the cross of St George (England) which forms part of flag two - the Union Flag (UK) and the UK is part of the EU (third flag).
