Home Sweet Home

Just to prove that we do occasionally get some sunshine!  There was a actually a Force 9 blowing but the sun was shining and it was exhilarating. You can see how well everything grows in this climate though! I have been hard at it, hacking back bracken, clearing reed beds and de-convolvulousing everything (you know that creeping plant that gets everywhere).
I've just been out for a wild walk around the circuit - the pubs were packed, boats bobbing furiously, Americans cycling loudly on the wrong side on of the road (sorry American friends but they were), a man in waders with a huge net trawling for something in the shallows and several families gamely rock pooling.
Just made it home and the heavens have now erupted in spectacular manner.
