What Is Wrong With This Picture?
We have been to Rome quite a few times. I think it's one of our favourite cities. We have done most of the "must do" things here already, so this time our plan is to amble around, take a few photos and find good things to eat.
We were headed for the Capitoline Museum when I glanced down into the Roman Forum and thought "That's odd, there's no one in there". There wasn't a single tourist to be seen and it was well after it should have opened. I have no idea if it was closed or just a freak moment, but when I mentioned it later at the hotel they looked at me like I was crazy and said it was open.
So here's a very rare shot of the Forum without any tourists!
